Project description
The redevelopment of the Pier Paolo Pasolini Library, located near the Spinaceto neighbourhood (IX Municipality), is an intervention that aims to improve the building structure and its functions. The main objective is to optimise the use of indoor and outdoor space, while ensuring the adoption of eco-friendly and eco-sustainable materials.
Specifically, the planned activities will include the following interventions:
- Functional, architectural and plant upgrading of the library to improve the efficiency of the spaces and services offered;
- Implementation of interventions for the preparation of an outdoor area, including the replacement of parts of the fence and the maintenance of the surrounding green areas;
- Renovation of external and internal plaster and revision of fixtures to ensure adequate thermal and acoustic insulation;
- Demolition of a partition to expand the relaxation area and improve the usability of the spaces;
- Consolidation of the pillars to ensure the structural stability of the building;
- Painting of all internal surfaces for an overall aesthetic improvement;
- Redevelopment of the electrical system and data network to ensure efficient energy distribution and adequate connectivity;
- Adaptation of the air conditioning system to ensure thermal comfort both in winter and summer;
- Improvement of the water-sanitary system and the production of domestic hot water to ensure adequate sanitation;
- Optimisation of the rainwater disposal system to prevent problems related to water stagnation;
- Upgrading of fire and intrusion prevention systems to ensure the safety of users and the structure.
