Adaptation to the fire regulations of the "Maria de Mattias" infant school

Project description

The intervention provides for the adaptation to the fire regulations of the "Maria de Mattias" infant school located in Via Pian Due Torri 110. The works will bring the school structure in line with the fire prevention requirements approved by the Provincial Command of the Fire Brigade of Rome with protocol no. 11323 of 17.02.2010.

The project is divided into three parts:

1- CONSTRUCTION WORKS: construction of fire-fighting compartments and structural protections of pre-existing elements with adaptation of emergency exits; refurbishment of internal and

adaptation of the floor slab package according to energy regulations.

Installation of firecheck doors in fire-fighting compartmentalised environments and installation of suitable certified panic bars.

2- TECHNOLOGICAL SYSTEMS: supply and installation of a fire-fighting

water group with pumps and tank located outside the school complex; renovation of the entire fire-fighting water line inside the school; 

3- ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS: complete refurbishment of the electrical and safety system with installation of new electrical panels and new distribution of visible circuits. Installation of a smoke detection unit that will allow you to manage the methane gas solenoid valve of the kitchen room and the electromagnetic stops of the firecheck doors of the same room through an alarm button in the guarded entrance area. Complete renovation of the ordinary and emergency lighting system.
