Project description
In order to provide an adequate welcome for pilgrims and visitors, a programme is planned to upgrade and redevelop the toilets. This plan will include various activities, such as the renovation of existing public toilets and the installation of new automated toilets through possible public and private partners. The redevelopment of the existing bathrooms will ensure compliance with safety and accessibility regulations, with the aim of eliminating architectural barriers and improving facilities. The intervention will increase the total number of service points to approximately seventy, distributed mainly in high-flow area.
