Construction of a new Emergency Medicine Department and purchase of equipment for the Tor Vergata Polyclinic Hospital in Rome

Implementing party

Regione Lazio

Fondazione Policlinico Tor Vergata

Project description

In order to strengthen the emergency network of the Tor Vergata Polyclinic, in accordance with the Jubilee of the Catholic Church 2025, a new Emergency Medicine Department (EAD) will be built with 40 beds.

Instrumentation plays a fundamental role in the effective and rapid management of patients and in improving their flow within the hospital, helping to speed up processes and reduce pressure on the Emergency Department. For this reason, it is essential to provide health professionals with the electro-medical equipment necessary to address the critical issues typical of an Emergency Medicine department, such as electrified beds, ECGs, defibrillators, centralised and decentralised multi-parameter monitors, high-performance integrated turbine lung ventilators, infusion systems, ultrasound scanners, patient lifts and other medium-low technology equipment.
