In detail, the following works are planned:
Renovation and conservative restoration of wall apparatus:

• consolidation of wall structures in opus listatum and replacement of the existing case with a top protection that is compatible with the ancient materials and fulfils the function in a suitable manner;
• arrangement of the area aimed at restoring the overall intelligibility of the entire interior space of the Damasus cemetery basilica.

Accessibility and compliance with architectural barrier regulations:

• works to connect inaccessible areas to the main route.

Technology and lighting systems:

• lighting of the area, intended with the dual purpose of enhancing the archaeological site as well as opening it after dark.

Adaptation to safety regulations:

• implementation of safety signage and escape route paths.
