The project to restore and enhance the Mausoleum of Lucilius Peto includes a series of targeted interventions. Surface cleaning of the external wall features will be carried out with particular attention to travertine cladding and marble plaque.The existing stairs will be covered with the same stone material as the mausoleum.
Interior humidity levels will be checked, with subsequent corrections to eliminate any identified causes such as the infiltration of water. The project will also include the restoration and inspection of metal elements present. In relation to accessibility and meeting architectural barrier regulations, works will be carried out to connect areas that are currently inaccessible from the existing route. Finally, the electrical system, both indoor and outdoor, will be completely renovated, with modifications to the outdoor area for hosting events. The primary objective is to preserve the historical integrity of the Mausoleum of Lucilius Peto and enhance its architectural heritage.
