Project description
The restoration project aims to recover the "Castle", located at the highest point of the hill on which the Borgo di Cesano develops, allowing the full use of the building by the community.
Specifically, the planned activities will include the following interventions:
- Restoration of the façades, architectural elements and interiors of the building;
- Improvement of the energy efficiency of the property;
- Subdivision of the building on three floors:
- Ground floor used for civic purposes.
- First and second floors dedicated to hospitality linked to social tourism programmes.
- Total renovation of the building to accommodate a library and a multi-purpose space, including study rooms, an area for cultural events and meetings with a refreshment point.
