Installation of new security and lighting systems in archaeological and monumental areas and in the Museums belonging to the Capitoline Superintendence
Implementing party
Project description
The intervention planned by the Capitoline Superintendence aims to improve, in the Jubilee Year, the reception of pilgrims and tourists and the usability of archaeological and monumental areas and museums. It is divided into two operational areas for these purposes:
- adapt and install new security systems to ensure the safety of the places belonging to the Capitoline Superintendence and their protection from intrusions, theft and vandalism, improving the ability to respond in case of emergency through remote control of the areas. The flow of data, coming from the systems installed in the archaeological and monumental areas and the Museums, will flow into the "Monitoring and Control Centre for the security systems of cultural heritage" at Palazzo Braschi;
- install and update some lighting systems to enhance and make safer some archaeological areas of particular value located along the Jubilee routes. The LED installations will be monitored, managed and controlled remotely via centralised domotic system management programmes.
