Redevelopment of the “Cornelia" Library

Project description
The project aims to improve the energy system, heating and accessibility for the disabled of the Cornelia Library (1,035 sqm), located in the Montespaccato neighbourhood.
Specifically, the planned activities will include the following interventions:
- Remaking of the stratigraphy of the floor of the "boys' room";
- Rebuilding of the flooring in the library entrance area;
- Painting and arrangement of the external fence;
- Arrangement of the external greenery and creation of a metal fence to delimit the external area pertaining to the library;
- Creation of an access ramp to the external reading area;
- Implementation and upgrading of the Wi-Fi network and electrical system;
- Replacement of lighting fixtures with more efficient models;
- Installation of a centralised heat pump VRF system for heating and cooling, making the air conditioning system independent of the existing thermal power plant;
- Disposal of existing terminals and installation of new indoor units;
- Installation of a system for the production of domestic hot water;
- Revision of the existing fire detection system.
