Project description
The redevelopment of the Sandro Onofri Library, located near Via Umberto Lilloni, in the Acilia area (X Municipality), aims to improve the energy efficiency and functionality of the building through a series of interventions that include structural improvements and the installation of more modern and sustainable technologies.
Specifically, the planned activities will include the following interventions:
- Complete refurbishment of the roofing package, with the insertion of insulating material to improve thermal insulation;
- Revision of skylights and replacement of seals to ensure better insulation and prevent water infiltration;
- Maintenance of external floors to ensure safety and aesthetic appearance;
- Partial renovation of the internal plaster to improve the appearance of the internal surfaces;
- Replacement of lighting fixtures with energy-efficient LED fixtures to reduce consumption and improve lighting;
- Installation of 15 photovoltaic panels on the roof to reduce the cost of electricity consumption, in combination with the planned heat pump system and a charging station;
- Redevelopment of electrical, data network, air conditioning, water-sanitary, fire, anti-intrusion and CCTV video surveillance systems to improve the safety and efficiency of the systems.
