Project description
The redevelopment of the Tullio De Mauro Library, located in the San Lorenzo neighbourhood (I Municipality) within the Villa Mercede park, aims at energy efficiency and overall improvement of the structure.
Specifically, the planned activities will include the following interventions:
- Remaking of 10% of the plaster on the external façades and complete painting of the external and internal façades;
- Maintenance of the green areas surrounding the library and renovation of the entrance door to the external bathrooms;
- Replacement of fixtures to improve thermal and energy insulation;
- Installation of new bathroom doors and overhaul/upgrading of electrical, lighting and air conditioning systems;
- Complete renovation of the toilets, installation of a water heater and a charging station for electric bicycles;
- Creation of new areas for socialising and using information with electronic devices, through the addition of new furnishings and lighting fixtures to improve the comfort and use of existing spaces.
