The “Monte Arsiccio” nursery school is located in a peripheral area adjacent to the Insugherata Valley Park, a green oasis in the daily traffic of the neighbourhood.
The subject of the intervention is the construction of a canteen. At present, the school does not have suitable premises for users to eat their meals, forcing them to use the classrooms even during the lunch break. It will be built in the outdoor premises, will have a total area of 150 square metres and will include a kitchen and toilet facilities. The connection between the new premises and the school building will be provided by a protected walkway that is also accessible to disabled users.
The project is in line with all environmental protection and energy performance criteria of the DNSH “Do No Significant Harm” to the environment standard.
