Extraordinary maintenance, restoration and conservative repairing of the "Santa Jacinta" building managed by Cooperativa Roma Solidarietà - Soc. COOP. NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION
Implementing party
Project description
The project includes extraordinary maintenance, restoration and conservative repairing of the "Santa Jacinta" building, which is on the corner of Via Casilina Vecchia and Via Casilina near Piazza Lodi. This late nineteenth-century building, part of the complex called "Santa Jacinta", is currently under concession to Cooperativa Roma Solidarietà – Soc. Coop. NON-PROFIT ORGANISATION – an institution promoted by CARITAS in Rome – for social welfare purposes.
The main focus of maintenance is the roof, which has infiltrations in several points and needs the replacement of the heavily damaged insulation layer. The work is classified as "second-level energy redevelopment". The two balconies overlooking the inner courtyard will also be restored, whose plaster has fallen in several places and is crumbling in the rest of the surface.
A further intervention involves the complete remaking of the facades.
