New itinerant Socio-Healthcare Facilities
Implementing party
Project description
The project aims to respond promptly to the needs of survival, protection and safeguarding of the weak and frail, thanks to the qualified support of the Social Service.
Three itinerant Socio-Sanitary offices will be activated, in the territories of the three local health authorities of Roma Capitale, with the aim of monitoring over 2,000 people a year.
The project also envisages the creation of two "Centres for Socio-Health Vulnerabilities", where homeless people discharged from the hospitals of the city of Rome will be accommodated, with 24-hour assistance.
At least 10 homeless people with physical vulnerabilities will be accommodated in each centre, one of which is newly opened and the other in progress, with the aim of offering them assistance and protection aimed at overcoming their condition of vulnerability, and initiating paths of recovery and social integration. The two "Centres for Socio-Health Vulnerabilities" will operate in synergy with the Social Operations Room and in collaboration with Roman hospitals.
