The project involves a complex energy upgrade to improve the technological and management quality of the centre. The complex comprises multiple facilities, including a sports arena, guest houses, gyms, classrooms, a communal lounge, a canteen, a tennis court, a large car park, and the halls dedicated to exhibitions and meetings. It is the venue for sporting and social events and is a model for the activities organised by the Italian Judo Wrestling Karate and Martial Arts Federation. The intervention mainly consists of the installation of energy production systems from renewable sources (such as photovoltaic and/or wind power systems) that will be integrated with energy storage systems. The building envelopes will also be affected by the interventions, to correct thermal bridges and the insulation of some opaque dispersing structures. As part of the renovation, the most energy-intensive current installations and building envelopes will be upgraded to enhance the efficiency of the facility.
