The restructuring of the Santo Spirito Hospital concerns both the Emergency Department and the Surgical Unit, with the aim of improving the efficiency and quality of care. The redevelopment of the Emergency Department is aimed at reorganising the current internal spaces, which are currently very limited. In particular, adequate reception and waiting areas for patients will be created, the triage area will be redistributed and the areas for intensive brief observation will be restructured. The diagnostic network of the Emergency and Admission Department (EAD) will also be strengthened through the purchase of new electro-medical equipment.

The restructuring of the Surgical Unit is aimed at the construction and system adaptation of the operating theatre and the support environments of the department.
