The school complex in Via La Spezia 23, which includes the Giosuè Carducci nursery and primary school, will be the subject of a structural consolidation intervention. The complex is made up of 2 buildings that were built in different periods. 

The first, overlooking via La Spezia, has a load-bearing masonry structure and was built in the first decade of the 1900s, while the second, with a masonry and reinforced concrete structure, was added around 1938. The two bodies were connected by a cantilever connection and cracks appeared during the construction of the C line, so the company carrying out the work reinforced the structure with deep foundation piles.

The intervention includes the construction of a deep foundation system and the restoration of the sewerage system. The next phase of the intervention concerns the reconstruction of the technical connection and its seismic adaptation. This will be followed by the restoration of the architecture and the installations of the area that is the subject of the intervention. All of the masonry in question will be subjected to sewing work and the restoration of the architectural continuity.
