The project provided for a series of security measures: 

• Improvement and extension of video surveillance systems to support territorial security. The video surveillance systems have been installed both in new areas, especially in the "Jubilee places" and in the areas of major events, where millions of pilgrims and visitors are expected, and in the most suburban areas, which are more exposed to urban and social degradation phenomena and, in any case, are subject to increased flows during the Jubilee year. These systems have been equipped with perimeter security technologies in order to prevent cyberattacks. The resilience of the systems to cyberattacks was tested;
• Increasing of the security level of the mobile equipment used by the Roma Capitale staff during the Jubilee. Specifically, the acquisition of a solution to ensure the protection of the devices of the Local Police Corps and all Capitoline structures from cyber threats was envisaged.
