In 2000, the Tor Vergata area hosted World Youth Day, demonstrating that it is not only an important university hub but also has the capacity to host events of international importance. Precisely for the 2025 Jubilee, the planned road system linking the A1 motorway - Diramazione Roma Sud with the Torrenova-Tor Vergata junction will be completed.
