Project description
The intervention involves the cleaning and the conservative restoration of the historic embankments of the Tiber. The damaged elements, particularly travertine slabs, low walls, and other masonry elements, will be repaired. Additionally, measures are planned to address external factors that threaten the stability and integrity of the embankments, specifically:
- cleaning and eliminating water infiltrations due to leaks in the conduits;
- removing plant roots;
- eliminating invasive non-native vegetation.
