Project description
Implementing activities for a new selection valorisation plant for paper and plastic in the Ponte Malnome plant. Part of this intervention will be the extension of the treatment lines for the waste coming from multi-material and paper-cardbox lines waste sorted.
The two new lines, both having a 50,000 tonnes/year capacity, will efficiently manage the entire sorted line, improving the already existing plant network. The presence of redundant lines can ensure business continuity, allowing for coping with interruptions or maintenance shut downs.
Upgrading the plant will improve AMA's service efficiency in Rome, making collections in the area more effective and increasing the value of sorted fractions destined for supply chain consortia.
