The redevelopment of about 14,000 square metres within the Natural Monument of Parco della Cellulosa, acquired by the current Administration of Roma Capitale, was designed to give back to the city and the Municipality XIII an important "green lung".

The signing of the Collaboration Agreement with the Parco della Cellulosa Promotion Committee marked a significant step towards sharing and active participation of the territory. 

The redevelopment activities concerned the restoration of the fence and side entrances, the securing of some artifacts and the maintenance of green areas.

The Park, in addition to hosting several experimental plants for timber arboriculture and a large collection of Mediterranean species from Lazio and central Italy, became a reference point for socio-cultural and sporting events in the neighbourhood and all the surrounding areas.
