Ponte dei Congressi
Implementing party

Project description
The "Ponte dei Congressi" is an important road infrastructure linking the Fiumicino motorway to the EUR area, and is part of a wider project to redevelop the Tiber Valley between the Ponte della Magliana and the New Ponte dei Congressi. The intervention is divided into several activities:
- Creation of a new road system: a one-way ring road will be created, linking the roads to Rome and towards Fiumicino with connecting ramps. The road towards Fiumicino will use existing platforms in the reverse direction, while the road to Rome will be built from scratch.
- Improvements and adaptations to adjacent roads: works will be carried out to improve and adapt the roads adjacent to the new road system to ensure their functionality.
- Creation of a cycle-pedestrian system: a new system for cyclists and pedestrians will be created to promote sustainable mobility.
- Construction of the New Tiber River Park: the creation of a new park is planned between the Ponte della Magliana and the New Ponte dei Congressi.
This intervention will allow a better traffic and connectivity in the area, facilitating travel and improving accessibility between different areas.
