Redevelopment of metro line A stations
Implementing party
Project description
This intervention plans for the complete renovation of the 27 stations on Rome's Metro A Line and involves the renovation of each station's infrastructure and design. Activities will include the replacement of parts for transfer systems (escalators, elevators) to promote accessibility, the creation of systems for the collection and conveyance of rainwater, the waterproofing of areas such as atriums and platforms, and the revision of existing transfer systems. The interventions will be completed with the renovation of station finishings, following a specific redevelopment project for each station regarding the renovation of walls, ceilings, flooring, lighting, and signs for functionality and safety inside the stations. The interior spaces will be redesigned and updated with special attention to spaces dedicated to ATAC staff, such as ticket offices and station booths.
