Redevelopment of the municipal market in Largo Colli Albani – Appio III

Project description

The project envisages the construction of a New Colli Albani - Appio III Market on an equipped plateau to replace the current market located in Via Castel Gandolfo. The new market, smaller than the current one, will have areas dedicated to additional activities available to the citizens of the neighbourhood.

The works include:

  • Demolition of the existing structures;
  •  Construction of a reinforced concrete foundation to support the new market, including the related flooring;
  • Construction of 16 boxes used for commercial activities;
  • Construction of a structure for public toilets for men, women and people with disabilities;
  • Creation of a lightweight cover to protect the pedestrian paths of market customers;
  • Construction of special technical systems (electricity, water, sewerage, photovoltaic, data transmission and WI-FI, etc.);
  • Creation of relaxation and rest areas inside the market;
  • Creation of an area outside the market to be used as a children's play area;
  • Creation of an area between the market and the children's play area dedicated to social gathering activities available to the neighbourhood;

The project will make the market and its surroundings accessible to the citizens of the area.
