Implementing party
Project description
In view of the upcoming Jubilee, a preliminary phase of interventions on the station system is planned, which places us inside the Archaeological Park of the Appia Antica. The interventions aim at the redevelopment of the existing passenger building, the adaptation of accessibility and the arrangement of the external station areas belonging to the railway territory. The planned activities include in particular:
- Transformation of the current premises of the building into reception spaces: the current premises of the building will be reconverted into welcoming spaces for passengers and visitors, ensuring a comfortable and functional environment.
- Improvement of parking routes and waiting areas on the sidewalks: interventions will be carried out aimed at improving parking routes and waiting areas on the sidewalks, ensuring a better organisation of the space.
- Reorganisation of the parking and rest areas of the TPL service: we will proceed with the reorganisation of the parking and rest areas of the local public transport service (TPL), in order to optimise the use of the available space and improve the efficiency of the service.
The main objective of these interventions is to improve the overall experience of passengers and visitors to the station, making it more welcoming, accessible and functional.
