Project description

The objective of the Si-cura project is to promote the social inclusion of people at risk of poverty and social exclusion, especially in areas most exposed to the phenomenon of marginalization.

The interventions aim to improve living conditions and promote the path towards autonomy, offering accommodation and support to women and single fathers with children who are in conditions of psychological, social and material vulnerability. In addition, the project supports parenting, even in situations reported by the Judicial Authority.

Staying in the structures of the Parenting Area circuit represents a transition phase for the people accommodated, during which they will be supported on the path towards working, housing and social autonomy.

In addition, the following interventions will be activated:

  1. increase in the supply and variety of services for extreme poverty (social emergency services, low threshold for timely care);
  2. emergency support to single-parent nuclei;
  3. implementation of supportive co-housing services for emergency situations and awareness actions aimed at the resident community to prevent social conflict;
  4. strengthening and implementation of the services tested in the 2014-2020 programming;
  5. activation of services that provide for the active participation of the recipients of the interventions and their evaluation, also through the use of digital technologies.
