Project description

The project involves a series of interventions aimed restoring and consolidating the Roman structures present in the area. Through appropriate methods and techniques, work will be done to preserve and restore the integrity of the ancient buildings.
In-depth geognostic and archaeological investigations will be conducted to gain a better understanding of the site. The investigations will include carrying out detailed research and excavating the republican domus in the arena. Through these activities, new information could be unearthed about the architectural features and daily life of the inhabitants of the time.
In parallel, the arrangement, preparation and enhancement of the entire archaeological area will be taken care of, creating a welcoming and evocative environment for visitors. Itineraries will be created to allow visitors to explore the site in an educational and engaging way.
Particular attention will be paid to improving accessibility to the archaeological area, making the site easily accessible for all visitors, including those with disabilities or reduced mobility. Technological and infrastructural solutions will be adopted to ensure inclusive use of cultural heritage.
Finally, the archaeological area will be enhanced through an adequate lighting system. The lighting will be designed to highlight the architectural features and distinctive elements of the Roman structures, creating an evocative atmosphere that favours the visitor experience and highlights the site’s historical value.
