Evolution of the Casa Digitale del Cittadino
Implementing party
Project description
With the implementation of the new Casa Digitale del Cittadino platform, the administration guarantees full autonomy to citizens, simplifying procedures and improving the accessibility and usability of digital public services.
Among the main features already implemented in the CDC platform, there is the creation of a card dedicated to the management of reports by citizens, the possibility of making and managing payments in informative and dispositive mode, access to school services, the FAQ area, the management of notifications of interest and the consultation of deadlines and agenda.
All these features aim to ensure a unified user experience, meeting the accessibility and usability requirements defined by the AgID (Agency for Digital Italy) guidelines.
The CDC platform is based on the fundamental principles of "digital & mobile first", the "cloud first", which facilitate access from different platforms and devices, and "once only" which aims to reduce data duplication, thanks to the sharing of personal information only once.
Another crucial aspect of the project is the guarantee of transparency and openness of data and administrative processes, ensuring cybersecurity and compliance with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
The platform not only offers advantages to citizens residing in the Capitoline territory but is also aimed at non-resident users such as commuters and tourists, favouring a wide audience of users interested in the digital services offered.
In addition to its impact on interactions between citizens and the administration of Roma Capitale, the project is complementary to other initiatives such as the Roma Data Platform (RDP) and the Geospatial Data Acquisition for GeoRoma (GeoRoma) project.
The CDC therefore represents a significant step towards the digital transformation of the entire territory, aiming to simplify and improve the interaction between citizens and the administration.
